Description
Twilight Flowers at Sunset:
These colorful fractal chains create the illusion of pink flowers, traveling strange rock formations in a fantasy landscape. They seem to be enjoying a beautiful sunset with a hidden friend...

Planet Frax | Twilight Flowers at Sunset
Young fractal flower chains, called Fracta-Flora, attach themselves to an ancient fractapillar at sunset. By absorbing the sun's warmth collected by the Gecko-pillar, they go through several color changes creating a flowery appearance. This creates a sort of protection, as it confuses other fractal creatures keeping them at a distance. Truth is, the avoidance is simply due to the fact that they just don't want to hear their stories again... and again.. in unison. Fracta-Flora are young, recently Saved and Released Fraclings, unable to comprehend the endless journey they have just begun. With the rendering process just behind them, much time is devoted to chatter about design experimentation at the hands of their Human Creators. Their tiny chatter getting faster as they try to "one-up" each other's creation experience. Tales of embarrassing texture failures, the endless trying on of color combinations...
SPONTANEOUS ZOOMING!! .. "yes, yes!!"
"I remember morphing into completely different shapes - that was scary!"
"I remember that too! ... Hated that!"...
"REALLY?? well...
I - ONCE - FLOATED - AWAY!!
Yeah! Yeah, she just let me float right off the screen... "
"...wait... that happen to you too?... "
and further down the chain "That happen to me too"
"... and me... " from up the chain
Then it gets really quiet... as it always does...
.. floating off the screen.. unnerving stuff for One so incomplete..
The old Gecko-pillar just smiles to himself. He has heard this story for years. It fascinates him that they don't know yet. How can they not know?
They don't know that they share the same memories ~ that they are EXACTLY the same. Each a perfect replication of the sister behind her - all the way back to the One. It's her Creation Experience that they recall as their own.
He use to explain it all to them ~ if only to ease the confusion of becoming "Set-Aware".
If only he could still move his mouth... but it's been eons since he could do that. He is millions of years old, after all. More stone than creature, he has become part of the landscape. But he can still move - slowly - very slow. Why, hundreds of these beautiful chains of Flora can come and go in the 7 years it takes to blink an eye.
