Memory is a funny thing. We have good memories and bad ~ some are of things that never happened. We suppress memories we would like to forget and enhance the ones that changed our lives. The problem with memory is that there is usually someone else involved in the event that sparked the memory. Now you have two or more views of the same event. What may have been a non-event for one, may have made a strong impact on another - a memory to last a life time.
Never underestimate the persistence of other people's memory.
