I love how the mechanical clock is black and white. Gives it a stiff metallic look. Bursting through the center is the wonderful colors of life, energy, emotion. Some of the patterns almost look like butterfly wings. The color looks to be spreading around and infecting its surroundings or washing away the lifeless/emotionless rigid feeling of logic/time.

Your analysis of this piece was kind of awesome, Mike ~~ thank you for the in depth comment/compliment. I find the concept of time fascinating. While we try to control it by assigning measurements, we really can't control it. One person will have a day where it seemed like it would never end and another will experience the same 24 hours feeling that it was over before it started. "I've got time on my hands" and "I'm running out of time"... Someone loses time and someone else will find the time... and midnight will always come a second after today and a second before tomorrow ~~ :)

The eternal question - Where did the time go? Beautiful presentation of time concept.
